Cort KX1Q solid body electric guitar, in Trans Charcoal Grey colour.
The KX1Q model was part of the KX series that the Korean company Cort launched a few years ago, and produced in its Indonesian factory. As for the majority of the instruments built by Cort, the quality / price ratio is outstanding.
The KX1Q model was part of the medium range of the series (in USA was listed for 650 dollars). Light, balanced, very versatile also if its look may let you think that this is a rock / metal oriented guitar. Its versatility is even increased by its pickups that comes from a Yamaha RGX 621 made in the nineties. Those are capable of way more sonic possibilities than the originals, plenty of harmonic details even with the most aggressive distortion.
Solid construction, quality materials and hardware, very curated in its details and on the finishing, this guitar is cheap only in its price.

The guitar is in very good conditions and does not show any problem concerning its functions. Aestethically: the truss-rod cover is missing, the black plastic bobbin of the neck pickup is slightly damaged, there is a stain on the neck and it obviously shows traces of use.
But none of these things affects its playbility.
