In buone condizioni considerata l'età, un bel Rabab della zona del Balouchistani. Questo strumento chiamato "Suroz" è uno strumento ad arco, simile a un violino o sarangi e suonato verticalmente. È considerato lo strumento nazionale del popolo Baloch di Iran, Afghanistan e Pakistan. Ha tre o quattro corde principali per suonare. ci sono da cinque a otto corde simpatiche, realizzate in acciaio sottile e accordate secondo il raag da suonare. Le corde non si suonano come sui sarangi premendole con le unghie, ma toccandole con le dita, ma senza premerle sul manico.

Le due corde più alte sono per lo più diteggiate. Il musicista utilizza la corda più alta fino a un'ottava. Il suono è molto vicino al sarangi nepalese. Nel sud del Baluchistan ci sono suroz più piccoli, lì la lunghezza delle corde è di circa 33-35 cm. Nel nord e nel Sindh i suroz possono essere molto più grandi, fino a una lunghezza di corda di 45 cm.
