RARE GREAT SET OF BUTTERFLIES ENDEMIC IN GERMANY:
These prints are from an extremely rare work of beautifully hand colored copper engravings by Schmuzer, Jacob Xaver (1713-1775) that was a German copper engraver and illustrator.
The condition of these prints is very good. There is no foxing, no tears, no damages of loss. On white paper, that is in pristine conditions.
Still fresh '700 superb watercolour. These prints are more than 220 years old. They are beautifully executed copper engravings in very fine detail. The colours are bright and very intense.
All subjects illustated are endemic in Germani.
